Founded in 1935, Compositio Mathematica is owned by the Foundation Compositio Mathematica. Part of the income from the journal is used to support the diamond open access journal Algebraic Geometry and the open access journal Moduli. Any surplus income is used to sponsor mathematics via publications, mathematical conferences, and prizes.
